  1. is a license from Motorola needed to use this HCH on a xpr5550? In the features list for the xpr 5550 is has enhanced mic listed as no..Is a EID needed from Motorola?

  2. I wonder if the HHCH ignores the radio mic settings and is actually considered an accessory? The reason I constantly get reports of ugly audio. From Muddy to to much back ground noise . I have adjusted the radio settings over and over from factory default to various settings. How about digital AGC mic gain...ON or OFF? so many people give so many different opinion. If you run one of these or have some suggestions on how best maybe to apply the audio settings please let me know. Other motorola with just straight out of the box regular mic and factory settings people just praise . I am thinking about taking this off and putting the regular face and mic back on it just to see. Lot of trouble though
